Summer weekly programs begin today at Sterling Public Library. This morning is Kids Discovery Zone at 10:00 am. The program is for kids grade 5 and younger. Today's theme is Unearth the Dinosaurs. We hope you will join us for stories and crafts.

This week's Take and Make crafts are a little different-it's time to clear out the extra crafts from this year and make room for all of the Summer Reading crafts coming up! These crafts are only while supplies last so stop by and pick one up before they are all gone! Beginning in June all Take and Makes will be handed out on Thursdays at the Summer Food Service at Prarie Park and anything left will be at the library.

The Sterling Public Library will be closed on Monday, May 25th for Memorial Day. The library will be open on Tuesday at 9:00 am.

Stop by the library today between 1:00 and 3:00 pm for the final registration program for the Summer Reading Program. Today's program is Walking Dessert Dirt Cups!

Come into the library today between 4:30 - 6:00 pm to Adopt-a-Dinosaur! Choose a dinosaur and fill out the adoption certificate to take it home. Be sure to bring in your library card and register for the Summer Reading Program. And after the adoption event you can dig for treasures! (Weather permitting)
