Update: County Road 43 will open for the holiday weekend, Friday May 21-Monday May 25. Tuesday it will close again for appoximately 2-3 weeks.

The Jefferon County Engineer’s Department will be closing a portion of County Road 43 (Ross Ridge-Alikanna Road)- starting 3.1 miles East of State Route 43 at Miller Road (Township Road 1399) and ending 3.5 miles East of State Route 43 at Powell’s Lane (Township Road 385) on Monday May 18, 2026 at 7 am for approximately 4 weeks. There will be no thru traffic.

County Road 74 tunnel at Chapel Hill will be closed Friday May 1, 2026 from 8am- 3pm for guardrail repair. There will be no thru traffic.

County Road 39, (0.3 miles south of Township Road 201) will be closed May 11-May 15 for railroad crossing repair. There will be no thru traffic.

Road Closure: County Road 77 (Permars Run) will be closed Friday March 27, 2026 from 8 am to 2 pm for guardrail repair. There will be no thru traffic.

JEFFERSON COUNTY: Beginning November 17, State Route 213 will be closed during the daytime hours for multiple culvert replacements. The closure will extend from south of State Route 152 in Knoxville to Township Road 240. Closure hours will be from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, weather permitting. Traffic will be detoured via SR 7 north to SR 152 south, SR 152 south back to SR 213, and reverse. The project completion date is November 26, 2025.

The Jefferson County Engineer’s Office will be closing County Road 6 (Mt. Pleasant-Adena Road) 0.05 miles South of Mt. Pleasant Township Road 8 (Plank Road) on Friday, November 7, 2025 at 7am for approximately four weeks for a slip repair. There will be no thru traffic.
