Help keep recycling and solid waste workers safe by disposing of your old needles, lancets and syringes at a sharps collection station.

Hand sorting is a common practice at the materials recovery facilities that recycle metal, plastic and glass containers. If a container with sharps spills, work comes to a grinding halt. If a worker gets stuck, they must go through hours of testing and paperwork.

Iverson Park Winter Sports Area OPEN: The Iverson Park Winter Sports sled hills & outdoor skating rink are OPEN until further notice. (Toboggan runs are not yet open.) Goerke outdoor skating rinks are open. Facilities close if the temperature reaches -16 with or without wind chill.
