This month, we proudly celebrate the LGBTQIA2S+ community and honor the advocates, organizers, and leaders whose courage has shaped generations of progress. From the historic battles that sparked the movement to the ongoing fight for safety and dignity, their commitment inspires us every day. We stand with the LGBTQAI2S+ community, especially as trans people face escalating attacks across the country. Pride began as a riot, and it remains a celebration rooted in resistance. Together, we continue working toward a future where everyone can live freely, safely, and with equal rights.

UWSP College Dems 2025-2026 Closing Thoughts: we had a good year, hosted Sara Rodriguez for a campaign event, tabled for over 50 hours, worked with and .uwsp on both No Kings 3 and May Day organizing. Good year.

We are proud to partner with 350 Stevens Point, Progressive Action Organization, Q***r People of Color Alliance, Students of Reproductive Justice and Socialist Alternative to help UWSP students and community members participate in May Day. If you are unable to make it to Madison on Friday, the College Dems will be having chalk and yard games on the lawn of Old Main and Central Wisconsin Indivisible will be hosting an over pass protest, more information about that can be found at https.indicw.org/

📆 Our last meeting of the year is almost here, April 29 at 6pm
We’ll make the call at 4pm on wether we can meet outside, depending on the weather.

This is our final chance to gather as a chapter before the semester wraps. We’ll share updates, reflect on the work we’ve done together, and look ahead to what’s next. Whether you’ve been with us all year or you’re joining us for the first time, we’d love to close the year with you.
