The Blizzard Warning remains in effect for our area. Conditions continue to be extremely hazardous with heavy snow and strong winds creating dangerous travel and near whiteout conditions.

Please stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary. This helps keep roads clear for emergency responders and snow removal crews.

Residents are also asked to help keep their properties safe:
• Clear snow from fire hydrants near your home so firefighters can access them quickly in an emergency.
• Keep gas meters clear of snow and ice to prevent damage and ensure proper ventilation.
• Make sure furnace and dryer vents are clear to prevent dangerous carbon monoxide buildup.

Your help during this storm can make a big difference for emergency crews and your neighbors. Please stay safe and check on those who may need assistance.
