The Stevens Point Police Department is selling K9 merch to raise money for our K9 program. We have shirts, stuffed animals, and coins for sale. These items can be purchased from our Records Department year-round, or at special events, such as Cruz with the Cops tomorrow at PJ Jacobs. All proceeds go to the K9 program.

Drivers please be aware that the traffic lights at Water Street and Nebel Street/Riverview Avenue have been returned to normal signal operation. Please pay attention when traveling through these intersections for the change in the operation of the lights.

On Friday May 29th 2026 the main entrance to the Stevens Point Police Department will be closed due to construction from 8am till approximately 930am. Our Records Department will be operational, but the lobby will be closed. If you need to speak to Records or an officer during this time, please call 715-346-1500.

Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten. As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, we encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy because of those who gave their lives defending them.

From all of us at the Stevens Point Police Department, we extend our gratitude to our fallen heroes and their families.
