We are saddened to announce the passing of Karl, a cherished member of our community. Karl joined us during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and played an instrumental role in our ability to provide meals to those in need. His dedication and generosity continued until his final day, and for that, we are eternally grateful. He will be deeply missed.

Karl Creasy Jr., 82, of Denver, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Lebanon VA Medical Center.

He was born in Pottstown to the late Karl Creasy, Sr. and Jennie (Shultz) Creasy and was the husband of Brenda (Martin) Creasy, with whom he shared 31 years of marriage.

Karl earned his living in the car business, a profession from which he never truly retired. For most of his adult life, Karl found joy in weekends spent with family and friends in the Wellsboro mountains, where he found peace outdoors. In recent years, he found equal joy in the simple Lancaster County moments: good company, shared meals, and time with those he cherished.

However, Karl’s true passion was serving others, a calling deeply rooted in his faith. In 1961, at just 17 years old, he felt led to join the United States Navy, where he proudly served his country for nine years. He remained a loyal and grateful Veteran throughout his life. In his final weeks, he reflected on his service, saying, “At a point in my life, I wrote a blank check made payable to the United States of America for an amount ‘up to and including my life.’ To me, that is honor.”

Karl lived his life as a reflection of his beliefs, carrying a servant’s heart in all that he did. Following a senseless and heartbreaking tragedy that impacted his family in 2015, Karl co-founded the ministry “Dot to Dot,” with a mission to bring support, guidance, and direction to those that had little to none: offering hope, compassion, faith, and his most recognizable expression of care: food.

In a note found inside a book, Karl wrote, ‘Hopefully my life did mean something.’ Karl lived with honor, served with purpose, and loved with a giving heart - a legacy that leaves no doubt it did.

In addition to his wife, Karl is survived by many children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements by Stradling Funeral Homes, Inc., Akron/Ephrata. Online condolences can be given at stradlingfuneralhome.com.
