Attention members in the Marshall County area that were affected by the storms this week: We will need to take a 30 min - 1 hour outage in the morning beginning at 9:30 am. This outage is to remove a critical tree that could damage a three-phase line. As always, keep our lineman in your prayers! We appreciate your patience during this time.

NAEC would like to thank our members in Marshall County for being patient and understanding during the storm repairs and restoration this week. We would also like to thank Scottsboro Electric Power Board, Marshall County Public Works, Grant Police, and all the emergency responders, etc. that helped during this time.

Update!

NAEC Members who are still without power: Our crews, along with crews from Scottsboro Electric, are working diligently to restore power. They have worked through the night and are still working. Please be patient and most importantly, keep them in your prayers.

💙Happy Lineman Appreciation💙

Today NAEC celebrates lineman appreciation, and it could not have come at a better time! Our lineman have been working non-stop to restore power from a storm that swept through part of our system yesterday!

We want to recognize the hardworking men who keep our lights on and our communities running.

Thank you for the long hours, missed family time, sacrifices, and dedication to restoring power and serving others. Your commitment does not go unnoticed, and we are so very grateful for everything that you do!

If you see a lineman today, or know a lineman, thank them! Thank them for their service, the long hours, and their unwavering commitment to our communities.

Due to the storms that passed through, fallen trees and poles down have caused widespread outages on our system. We have crews dispatched that are working to restore power as quickly and safely as possible. Please keep our lineman and all the emergency response crews in your prayers as they work to clear the roads and restore power.
