No, I’m not performing songs from Phantom of the Opera in this photo 🎭 😂

I am singing a different tune. It’s a familiar one about how our county is falling behind by nearly every measure—backsliding economy, insane housing costs, chaotic traffic, lawless communities, harmful school overcrowding, zero government accountability, and the growing feeling that regular people no longer have a seat at the table.

The lighting is dark and dramatic, but the song is called “We Can Choose a Better Future.”

It’s hopeful. It’s optimistic. And unlike most Broadway shows, it comes with audience participation.

The big performance is in November.

Hopefully it tops the charts 📊 👏 🎶

“Either this County Council is dangerously incompetent, or it knowingly created a system designed to protect insiders while pretending to reverse course once the public caught on. Those are the only options.
And BOTH are DISQUALIFYING.”

I absolutely agree - Monday night’s community forum in Catonsville was probably my favorite event so far. Each of us had a strict 5 minutes to speak - a 3 minute intro and 2 minutes to answer a question - that’s it! Absolutely eliminating the blathering filibusters of some of these candidates that I can now almost recite word-for-word 🙄

🏈 The Ravens made a hard call this week. And it says a lot about leadership. 🏛️

John Harbaugh was fired — not because he’s a bad man.
Not because he didn’t give years of service.
Not because he didn’t have past success.

He was fired because results matter. 📊

In professional sports, when a team keeps losing, ownership doesn’t argue about intentions or history. They ask one question:
👉 Is this leadership still producing wins?

If the answer is no, you make a change — in pursuit of a better future. 🏆

That’s exactly where Baltimore County is today.

This campaign isn’t about tearing down the leaders of the past.
It’s about acknowledging that the current direction isn’t working.

📈 Crime is up
📉 Public trust is down
♾️ The county feels stuck

Strong executive leadership means knowing when it’s time to try something different — even when that decision is uncomfortable.

🙏 So we thank those who served before us.
🫡 We respect the past work they did to the extent it helped us.
✅ And we choose a new path forward.✨

Baltimore County deserves a winning strategy —
and I’m running to lead that change. 💪
