Dandelion Farm Irish Draughts Dandelion Farm is set in the Bitterroot Valley in western Montana, between the Bitterroot and Sapphire Mountains.

At Dandelion Farm, our aim is to breed purebred Irish Draught horses who possess the wonderful, essential qualities of the breed.

Dandelion Journeyman, aka Gary, with his dam Dandelion Nellie Bly. A little video of the lad. I continue to be impressed with his conformation, movement, and temperament. The toughest thing about filming them is getting them to move away from us. Gary, especially, really just wants to come say hi.

Gary, purebred, chestnut c**t by Dylasau Crosstown Gold and out of Dandelion Nellie Bly (KEC Double Diamond). He is a little over 2 months old. He is a friendly and bold fellow. Curious about whatever is going on, which is usually just me changing the pipes or my dog who helps me change pipes. He hops in the trailer like a pro and loves getting scritches.

Freddie, by Farraway Quicksilver and out of Dandelion Atlantic Crossing (Dandelion Transatlantic) at one and a half months old. She takes everything in stride. The second photo is her at the vet clinic, checking out every nook and cranny to find something interesting to do while her mom gets bred.

So fun to see Klearys Big Dreaming, aka Ziggy, at The Event at Rebecca Farm this week. Ziggy is a young stallion, ridden by his owner, Katie Blanchard. He was a true gentleman and finished 8th in a very competitive group in the Novice division. Katie rides him beautifully. Ziggy was bred by Kleary Field. He is by Kleary’s M & M and out of our own Dandelion Atlantic Crossing (Dandelion Transatlantic). Well done, Katie and Ziggy!
