A quick reminder to our community members that outdoor open burning is now prohibited until further notice in Ravalli County by Commissioner resolution due to high fire danger throughout the area. Recreational and cooking fires are allowed if under 4 ft in diameter and are attended until completely out. Thank you for doing your part to prevent human caused fires this year!

PUBLIC REMINDER:

The Stevensville Police Department would like to remind everyone of the fireworks ordinance within Stevensville Town limits. Use proper safety precautions while handling fireworks, and have water readily available to reduce the risk of fire. After fireworks are discharged, please do not leave trash on the roadways/sidewalks.

TOWN ORDINANCE:
SEC. 16-118 - Dates allowed for fireworks discharge.
July 3rd --- 6:00 p.m. – 12:00 midnight
July 4th --- 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 midnight
