Four members of the Three Mile Fire Department have successfully completed a comprehensive First Responder program, a 9-week course involving more than 60 hours of training focused on strengthening their skills in emergency medical care. This instruction includes patient assessment, airway management, CPR and AED use, bleeding control, trauma response, and critical decision-making in high-pressure situations—providing the foundation needed to deliver immediate, lifesaving care.
Their commitment represents a meaningful investment in the safety and well-being of the community we serve across 52 square miles.
We extend our sincere appreciation to instructor Kris Parsons for delivering an exceptional program and for helping advance the capability and preparedness of our team.
