Anyone that is out of water can contact Leon at (918) 471-0818 here at Southside Fire dept and we can get you cases of drinking water! There is also someone at the station now until later this evening if anyone wants to pick some up!! Please share with anyone who could use it!

🔥 Fire Weather Update for Haskell County

Fire weather levels are reaching near‑critical this afternoon. Gusty northwest winds paired with dropping humidity will create elevated to locally critical fire spread conditions across the region.

Yesterday I was in training with several SEOK emergency managers, and many reported large or multiple fires in their counties. Because of the increased activity statewide, the State EOC will be activating to monitor and support fire response efforts.

Please avoid any outdoor burning, stay alert, and report any smoke or fire you see.

We will be having the bake sale January 24th at the VFW at 2pm! If you would like to donate please let me know! You can bring the items to the VFW by 12:30!!

Hello everyone,
The Southside Volunteer Fire Department will be selling raffle tickets for a Miners Commemorative Set of Boker Tree Brand Knifes (pictured below ⬇️). Proceeds from this raffle will help support our department and the services we provide to the community.

If you are interested in purchasing one or more raffle tickets, please feel free to contact any Southside Volunteer Firefighter. Your support is greatly appreciated, and we thank you for helping us continue to serve and protect our community.

The drawing will be held April 25th . Tickets are $2 each or 3 tickets for $5

We had originally planned for last weekend and then decided to postpone due to the weather and we had it today and thankfully the weather held off and we didnt get soaked! Thank you to the community for coming out and having fun with us and supporting your local volunteer fire department!
