We heard about this whole “buy a product, get a free NeeDoh” thing, and we’re thinking about trying it out.

So we came up with our own SPD version.

Turn yourself in on an outstanding warrant and get a FREE SPD NeeDoh.

Rat on your favorite drug dealer and get a FREE SPD NeeDoh.

Help us locate a wanted person and get a FREE SPD NeeDoh.

Sounds like a pretty good deal, right?

Best part? We currently don’t have a line.

*An SPD Junior Officer sticker may be substituted for a NeeDoh.

*There are no actual SPD NeeDohs to give out.

Drive safe and buckle up, Stillwater!

Thank you, Mr. Blair, for courageously stepping up to assist the community and officers in a time of need! It was an honor to recognize him!

John Blair, APRN-CNP, received recognition by the Stillwater Police Department! John was recognized for personal courage and life-saving actions when providing a gunshot victim with critical care in Stillwater. Thank you, John, for being a leader not only to other providers, but also to those in the community.

Congratulations on the honorable recognition!

We saw Stillwater Fire’s post and just wanted to clear a few things up…

Yes, one of our officers was watching the water rescue training.

Mostly because we were trying to figure out how many firefighters it takes to do something the rest of us would call “work.”

In all seriousness, we love giving Fire a hard time. They may have the cool trucks, but somebody has to keep the city safe while they’re out playing in the water.

We’re one team when it matters most… even if some of us require significantly more equipment and personnel to get the job done.

We noticed PD staring a little too long…

He eventually walked over, so we figured we’d let him get a closer look at what the cool side of public safety was doing.

A Shift was at the lake working on water rescue operations when we picked up an interested observer.

We give each other a hard time, but when the call comes in, we’re on the same team.

READY WHEN IT MATTERS MOST.

Hey, Stillwater! School is back in session, and our community is getting busy again.

With more students, pedestrians, bicycles, motorized scooters and E-bikes using our streets and sidewalks, we want to share a friendly reminder about where bicycles and scooters can be ridden.

Bicycles, motorized scooters and E-bikes are not allowed on sidewalks in areas zoned Commercial Business (CB).

This includes Downtown Stillwater, Campus Corner and The Strip.

We know bicycles, scooters and E-bikes are an important way for many people to get around Stillwater. Please use designated bike lanes or ride in the roadway where permitted, and watch out for pedestrians, especially with school back in session.

Let’s keep Stillwater moving safely!
