The City of Stillwater Emergency Management Department (SEMA) proactively plans for all hazards, works to reduce threats, and prepares Stillwater residents and organizations to respond to and recover from any emergency including terrorism. Stillwater Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), part of Public Safety for the city of Stillwater OK, is responsilble for mitigating, planning, responding, and re

covering from man-made and natural disasters. It will be used to provide preparedness information on a regular basis. Other information will be provided when it is available. Our primary area of responsibility is the city of Stillwater, and we also assist our emergency management partners within Payne County and other surrounding counties.

* At 1042 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles northwest
of Mulhall, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

UPDATE, 2 a.m.: The Tornado Warning for Payne County has expired. US National Weather Service Norman Oklahoma has issued a severe Thunderstorm Warning for Payne County until 2:45 a.m.
