Pete's Pet Posse The official page for Oklahoma State University's pet therapy program. Pete's Pet Posse is self-funded and relies on donations to operate.

The Pete's Pet Posse Mission is to enhance the wellbeing of the Cowboy family through professionally trained and nationally certified pet therapy teams in collaboration with campus resources and generous supporters. Housed in the OSU Center for Pet Therapy, 224 Student Union, Pete's Pet Posse was established as a wellness program in 2013. A cooperative effort of the OSU President's Office, OSU Col

lege of Veterinary Medicine, OSU Veterinary Medical Hospital, University Counseling Services, University Human Resources, and the Employee Assistance Program. Therapy animals are trained and placed in OSU departments as an additional wellness benefit to faculty, staff, students and visitors to the OSU campus. In addition, pet therapy visits are conducted in central locations across campus and at various OSU sponsored events. These animals belong to faculty, staff and others affiliated with OSU and are not owned by the university. They live with their humans full time and make the campus a little brighter orange each time their furry feet hit the campus. The goal of the program is to positively enhance physical and emotional health, and contribute to the success of becoming America's HEALTHIEST Campus.
