It’s a great day when you get to be the very first customer for a couple of entrepreneurs. For CSO Velin, it was her first lemonade stand visit of the season. Smiles all around.
A reminder that some of the best parts of summer can still be enjoyed for about a dollar.

Thumbs up for long days, warm evenings and plenty of lemonade stands ahead.

It's easy to look around and think everyone has it all figured out, but the truth is that everyone faces heavy days. Mental health is just as important as physical health and looking after it starts with breaking the silence. As we wind up the month of May and Mental Health Awareness Month, let's check in on our neighbors, friends and loved ones. You wouldn't ignore a physical injury, don't ignore emotional well-being either.
Help is always available:
Call or Text 988 for the free, confidential, 24/7 Crisis Lifeline.
Text "HOME" to 741741 to connect with the Crisis Text Line.

We really are in this all together.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to come together as a community to raise awareness, support people living with a mental illness and their

Knowledge is one of our best defenses against fraud. Det. Sgt Wulfing and Detective Peterson had the pleasure of sitting down with a great group of local seniors for a cup of coffee and an interactive presentation on Scams, Shams and Schemes.
From fake charities to high tech phishing tactics, and everything in between, we covered the warning signs everyone needs to keep their hard earned money and personal information safe. Our seniors asked great questions and proved that staying informed is the best way to stay safe.

Quick tips:
If an organization is is demanding payment and stressing the urgency to act immediately, take a moment and verify for yourself.
Law enforcement, the Courts and other government bodies will never call you and demand payment over the phone for unpaid tickets or warrants. And they certainly won’t ask for payment in gift cards.
Real banks will never call you and ask you for personal information or your account number over the phone.
When in doubt-check it out. In the event of any suspicious activity, don’t hesitate to give us a call.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for this important conversation. Let’s keep looking out for one another.

What a great way to kick off the final week of school with the 1st graders at Stonebridge Elementary by enjoying an incredible K9 demonstration from Deputy Yetter and his K9 Partner Huck from the Washington County Sheriff's Office So grateful for your time and partnership.
And a bittersweet time saying farewell to teacher Jessie Foley who is leaving for a new and exciting job opportunity. Ms. Foley has been instrumental in launching and participating in our P.A.L.S. (Police at Local Schools) program. Thank you for your partnership Jessie. Wishing you the absolute best.
Congratulations to all the kiddos on finishing the school year. Stay safe. We'll see you out and about this summer.

A huge thank you to Oasis Cafe' for sponsoring breakfast for a couple of Stonebridge Elementary students before their ride to school with the Stillwater Police Department.

We're happy to report that all involved were members of the Clean Plate Club and there were plenty of sticky syrupy smiles to go around.
