Closing Out Volunteer Appreciation Month with Gratitude 🧡

As Volunteer Appreciation Month comes to a close, we want to take another moment to recognize the incredible individuals who make Payne County OSU Extension programs thrive.

Throughout April, we’ve celebrated the dedication, passion, and impact of our volunteers, and we simply can’t say it enough --THANK YOU! From supporting our 4-H youth to sharing expertise in gardening, nutrition and community development, your service creates lasting impact across Payne County.

You are the heart of what we do, and your commitment helps build stronger families, stronger programs and a stronger community.

The Oklahoma Conference on Volunteerism is a new statewide event designed to support, celebrate, and strengthen Extension volunteers. OHCE members, Master Gardeners, Master FCS Volunteers, and 4‑H volunteers will come together for:

Engaging workshops
Hands‑on learning
Volunteer recognition
Networking with volunteers statewide

Join our **Volunteer Photo Challenge** and help us showcase the impact you've made in our community or the impact volunteers have made for you.

Here are the different ways to participate:

Now’s your chance to see what we do right here in Payne County! Join us for our Open House and discover programs, meet educators and learn how we can help you.

What to expect:
• Meet your local Extension educators
• Explore programs in agriculture, horticulture, 4-H, family and consumer sciences and more
• Enjoy hands-on activities for all ages
