Help Wanted
The Stilwell area Development Authority (Stilwell Utilities) is now accepting applications for a Full-Time Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator / Lab Technician. Applicants will be required to obtain an ODEQ Class D Wastewater Operator license within 1 year, and an ODEQ Class C Wastewater operator license within 2 years, and ODEQ Class C Wastewater Laboratory license within 3 years. Must have the ability to adapt to changes in new technology and have basic computer skills and knowledge. Must have the ability to learn and perform basic and advanced mathematical calculations. Must demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must possess a valid Oklahoma State Driver’s License and acceptable driving record. Must have the ability to operate tractors, loaders, dump trucks, and other large equipment. Must have the physical ability and mobility to work in a field environment, maintain plant equipment, to climb ladders, push, pull and lift moderate to heavy amounts of weight. Must be able to work scheduled overtime, call-outs, weekend and holiday rotations, and after-hour emergencies. Educational requirements are a High School graduate, GED or equivalent experience, and education to meet the requirements of the duties and qualifications. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and agree to random drug testing.
Starting wage $10.50 After 90 days $11.00
