🚧 Public Service Announcement – Street Closure Reminder 🚧

The Stilwell Police Department would like to remind all drivers that Second Street is currently CLOSED. Despite posted signage, we are continuing to see vehicles driving around barriers and ignoring “Street Closed” signs.

These closures are in place for your safety and the safety of workers in the area. Driving around barricades creates a serious hazard and may result in citations.

Please:
• Obey all posted road closure signs
• Do not move or drive around barricades
• Use alternate routes as directed

We appreciate your cooperation in helping keep our community safe.

❄️ Winter Weather Safety Reminder ❄️
Snow, ice, and freezing temps can make roads dangerous. Slow down, leave extra space between vehicles, and avoid sudden braking or sharp turns. Make sure your vehicle is winter-ready with good tires, a full tank of fuel, and an emergency kit (blanket, flashlight, water, phone charger). If you don’t have to travel, stay home and stay safe.

🚔 Your safety—and everyone else’s—depends on it.

The dome at the Stilwell high school will also be open for a warming center.

Our annual Shop-With-A-Cop was held last Friday. This year the FOP hosted 20 area children selected by their school to join officers in buying them Christmas gifts. We would not be able to do this without the generous support of the community purchasing raffle tickets. Special thanks to Mr. B’s, Harps, Little Debbie, and Wal-Mart for making it a memorable night for all involved.

The Stilwell Police Department was proud to participate in the Stilwell Christmas Parade! We had a great time celebrating the season with our community, spreading holiday cheer, and seeing so many smiling faces along the route.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the parade and helped make it such a festive and memorable event. We’re grateful to serve such an amazing community and wish you all a safe and joyful Christmas season!
