Bands announced for Fall Fest 2026
The third annual Fall Fest will be held Saturday, October 10 at Adair Park with live music, a car show, bike show, food trucks, a chili-cook off, a Plein Air Fall Fest outdoor art competition, vendors and more, like a nature native plant ID walk and super heroes.
Live music will feature Vince Turner of Stilwell, Joshua Yarbrough from Tulsa and the 4Fs from Tahlequah.
Vince Turner will lead of the bands from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. He is a local musician who works in Tulsa as a solo performer. He also can be found performing with three groups: Rackensak, Left of Center and Rachel Fields and the Blues Therapy Group. In Rackensak he plays guitar and bass, with vocals, along with James Miller on guitar, bass and vocals and Kevin Bonner on drums and vocals. According to an article by Karin Miller on the Rackensak Facebook, this three piece collaboration of seasoned musicians began in 2017 and have a, “special something,” that sets them apart. Hackensack means a native of Arkansas but these guys offer a long compilation of songs, and seeing them perform two nights in a row a listener may not hear the same song twice. They have a knack for keeping things spicy by being unpredictable, and switching instruments, as vocals emerge independently or as amazing 3-part harmony. Check out his music on YouTube and Facebook.
Joshua Yarbrough, a Tulsa musician the past 11 years, won the opportunity to represent North Eastern Oklahoma at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee in 2016. It was his first time in the competition as a solo act. While in Memphis he took a carefully selected band to record an album at the legendary Sun Studios. Listen to his music Spotify, Soundcloud and YouTube.
The 4F’s - Dr. Carl Farinelli (lead guitar, fiddle, harmonica and vocals), John Fite (keyboard), Matt Farinelli (bass and vocals)and Dr. Brett Fitzgerald (drums), from Tahlequah play what Carl calls, “swamp boogie” which may be a mix of Okie Rock Blues and Funk, Louisiana style Cajun, classic country, or whatever the consummate entertainer is led to sing and play and the others fall in with him. His son Matt also performs in Nashville, and with the 4Fs matches his dad’s vocals with harmonies, when not the lead vocalist. When Matt is away they may perform as the 3F’s with Joe Mack on bass. They have been a band for nearly 20 years and a regulars at the Red Fern Festival, Crawfish Fest, and local venues around Tahlequah. Music on YouTube and Facebook.
