📢 NOW HIRING – MAINTENANCE WORKER
City of Stinnett – Public Works Department
The City of Stinnett is accepting applications for a full-time Maintenance Worker to join our Public Works Department.
This position performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled duties supporting City operations, including:
🔹 Water, wastewater, and natural gas systems
🔹 Street and alley maintenance
🔹 Trash and solid waste services
🔹 Parks, playgrounds, and cemetery maintenance
🔹 Swimming pool maintenance
🔹 Mowing, trimming, and general grounds maintenance
🔹 Operation of City vehicles, tools, and equipment
🔹 Emergency and after-hours utility response
🔹 Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid Texas driver’s license or ability to obtain one
• Ability to perform physical/manual labor and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to safely operate tools, equipment, and City vehicles
• Class B CDL preferred
• Must be dependable and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Licensing Requirements:
The successful applicant must be willing and able to obtain required utility licenses and certifications within established City timelines, including applicable water, wastewater, and natural gas training/certifications.
Salary: Based on experience
This position may require evening, weekend, holiday, emergency, and on-call work.
