extending from 7 miles south of Guymon to 7 miles west of Morse to
4 miles southeast of Valley De Oro, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...Expect some tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Stinnett, Goodwell, Gruver, Lake Tanglewood, Hardesty, Sanford,

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to

🔥 It’s been a long night for your Stinnett Volunteer Fire Department. 🔥

Starting around 7:00 p.m. last night, your Stinnett Volunteer Firefighters began battling two separate wildfires, both believed to have been started by lightning strikes, on the east and north sides of our response area.

Then, around 3:00 a.m., while fire personnel were still finishing up on those scenes, we were called to a structure fire in town.

A HUGE shoutout to Borger Fire Department for assisting us with the structure fire. After working a full day and then spending most of the night battling wildfires, our volunteers were worn out, and that extra help was very much needed and greatly appreciated.

We are incredibly thankful for neighboring departments who are willing to step in when we need them. 🚒❤️

And a big thank you to our Stinnett volunteers who put in a full day, fought fire through the night, and kept going when the next call dropped. That’s what volunteer fire service is all about. 🔥🚒

We were able to suit out 5 personnel with brand new structure gear, with the FEMA reimbursement money from the Smoke House Creek Fire! We will be receiving 4 more sets and misc equipment at a later date. Our Department is very grateful to say the least! Our gear desperately needed replaced.

Update- all road are open. 6:30pm.

🚨 Attention, City of Stinnett 🚨

Due to a downed power line, the area on Williams between 6th Street and Davis Street is currently closed to all traffic.

Please avoid the area and use an alternate route while crews work to make it safe.
