Dear City of Stockbridge - District 3,

As we gather in gratitude this Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage, dedication, and selfless love for others stand as a powerful example of the words found in John 15:13 — “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”

Let us not only reflect on their sacrifice but also lift up the families who carry the weight of their absence. May God’s peace, comfort, and strength be with them today and always.

On behalf of District 3, we pray that this day be filled with remembrance, reverence, and renewed commitment to the values that unite us as a nation and as a body of believers. May we live in a way that honors their legacy — with faith, hope, and love.
