MARKET BUCKS ARE BACK!! YAY!! And we have more opportunity this season!

Our AMAZING sponsors 5 Healthy Towns Foundation and Tri-County Office on Aging have provided our community with the opportunity to receive market bucks to shop the Open Air Market of Stockbridge. A BIG thank you to them for supporting our community and our market.

New to Market Bucks, no fret, we are here to help a friend in need. The market bucks program is designed to help our local residents with food insecurities. We aim to serve as many residents as we can that qualify, and we encourage all to apply.

How to Apply:

This Friday 6/12 come to the market at the Stockbridge Township Square from 4-7 pm to pick up your application. Friday 6/26 is the first market you can pick up your bucks and begin spending them.

[THU 10:40PM] The line of storms now runs from Williamston City Hall to Dansville to Leslie and continues to move to the east. Lansing's airport hit 51mph and Mason's 37mph, and we're starting to see trees and powerlines being taken down resulting in some power outages.

Continue to monitor over the next half-hour as the system progresses through the southeast part of the county. The Lansing area and northwest part of Ingham County is cleared from the strongest winds.

[THU 8:30PM] One line of thunderstorms coming in from Lake Michigan brings the potential for very strong winds along the lakeshore. Another storm complex in the far northwest part of Indiana has a history of producing tornadoes.

We will continue to monitor all of this activity as it heads our way, with storms not expected before 10pm.
