After a traumatic experience like sexual assault, the world can suddenly feel like a scary or confusing place. Many survivors find themselves dealing with "flashbacks" or feeling like they are constantly on edge.
This is often called PTSD, and it’s basically your brain’s way of trying to process a memory that was too big to handle at the time. It’s okay if you don't feel like yourself right now.
