This is the NEW Village Oaks High School page. VOHS occupies the campus of VO Elem. since 2015 Village Oaks High School is the Alt. Ed.

high school of Lincoln Unified School District. We aim to celebrate our community while keeping Village Oaks families, alumni and the general public informed through our social media platforms. To promote open communication and transparency, we welcome comments on platforms including our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages. However, we also aim to promote safety and constructive communication for all who participate in our online communities. With this in mind, comments that include the following content (and others deemed inappropriate) may be deleted:

-Inappropriate language, including but not limited to vulgarity, profanity, or hate speech (which may include comments that target a person’s race, ethnicity, sexuality, gender identity, religious preference, etc.)
-Threats against Village Oaks students or staff members
-Spamming or promotional material that is unrelated to the topic at hand
-Statements that reveal personal information about Village Oaks students or staff members without their consent
Libelous statements that may unfairly harm a person’s reputation, including but not limited to allegations of criminal activity

We reserve the right to monitor and moderate comments made on our social media platforms on a case by case basis. Comments that are deemed a violation of our guidelines may be removed with or without notification. We also reserve the right to block or remove social media access for users who repeatedly violate these guidelines, which may be modified based on new developments or our personal discretion.

Our seniors are already making amazing memories together in their last year as high school students! Yesterday, the Class of 2027 showed creativity and school spirit as they tie-dyed their own t-shirts and painted rocks to leave their mark on the Village Oaks campus.

We are wishing all Vikings a relaxing three-day weekend and look forward to seeing students back on campus Tuesday, September 8.

The Village is ready for another exciting volleyball season! 17 students showed up yesterday for tryouts, practicing their serves, form and coordination as a team.

Our student-athletes will represent VO at Yosemite High School on Friday, September 11, when they play in a tournament against five other continuation high school teams. Let's go, Vikings!

Our staff team loved seeing Village Oaks students, graduates and families here to celebrate the start of another memorable school year! At our annual VO Kickoff, teachers enjoyed showing parents and guardians more about the classes, projects and traditions that make this Village special.

We appreciate the support of all Vikings as we head into a year full of exciting possibilities for our students!

Village Oaks students and families are invited to the VO Kickoff on Thursday, August 13! Our teachers and support staff look forward to meeting you and sharing our unique educational offerings with this community. Visitors can enjoy FREE hot dogs and nachos, and our Student Government will sell snow cones for $1 and soda for $2, cash only.

We hope to see you at Village Oaks this Thursday from 5:30 to 7 PM!

We're ready to make many special memories this school year! Picture Day is this Friday, August 7th, and we encourage Vikings to look their best for their official yearbook portraits. After your photo is taken, a proof will be sent home with an online link to view and order photos.

Our Class of 2027 can get their Senior Portraits taken this summer! The first photo sessions will beheld on Wednesday, June 24th, here at Village Oaks. Formal wear is required for these pictures to be used in the yearbook.

-Girls: Black drape is the standard dress code. Shoob Photography will provide them.
-Boys: Black tuxedo, white shirt and bow tie are required. Shoob Photography will provide them, along with Village Oaks caps and gowns.

We are so proud of every senior at Village Oaks! Every student in the Class of 2026 graduated high school alongside the Lincoln Trojans last night. Our 61 graduating seniors have made lifelong connections with their classmates, teachers and staff here at VO, and we look forward to seeing how they will achieve their Post Grad Plans while continuing to help others in the years ahead.
