One interesting challenge in the fire service is quite often every truck you have has a different type of pump with different procedures for operation! While we try to spec out things to be the same, time it's in technology quite often overrule those attempts. Last night your Stockton firefighters spent the night training on six different types of pumps on these trucks with different procedures to make sure we respond with speed and efficiency to your emergencies🙂

The current tornado warning issued, 2:14 in the afternoon on 4-17, is for the Northwestern part of Jo Daviess County. Standard procedure for the county is to blow all tornado sirens in the county for any tornado warning.

4-17 Conditions are developing quickly. We are now under a severe thunderstorm warning until 2:15 p.m. this is mainly directed at the northwest corner of the county, but we're definitely close enough we need to be aware.

Well the major storms have passed, there are several roads completely underwater due to the large rain fall. Use Extreme Caution driving, remember the road may not be present anymore underneath running water.
