Picture Day flyers were sent home with students yesterday! Please be sure to check your child’s backpack for important information about Picture Day and ordering options. 📷✨

📸 Wednesday, September 2
Students in Kindergarten–4th Grade will have their pictures taken.

📸 Thursday, September 3
Students in 5th–8th Grade will have their pictures taken, along with any students who were unable to take their picture on September 2.

If your child did not receive a Picture Day flyer, please contact the school office or your child’s teacher so we can make sure you have all the information you need.

We can’t wait to capture those Jaguar smiles!

We’re also sharing this resource with families to reinforce our 3 R’s: Recognize, Report, and Refuse.

When students attend school every day and arrive on time, they are more likely to:

⭐ Build strong relationships with teachers and friends
⭐ Stay on track academically
⭐ Feel confident and engaged in their learning
⭐ Develop habits that prepare them for future success

Good attendance means being at school on time, staying all day, being ready to learn, and bringing a positive attitude!

And remember—every day counts. Every minute matters. The habits our Jaguars build today will help prepare them for tomorrow.

At San Joaquin Elementary, physical education is more than just running, playing, and having fun—it’s standards-based learning in action!

From Kindergarten through 8th grade, our Jaguars participate in structured Physical Education lessons designed to build age-appropriate motor skills, movement concepts, physical fitness, teamwork, cooperation, and healthy habits.

Our amazing Teachers are intentional about planning and delivering lessons that align with California’s Physical Education Content Standards, ensuring that our students are not only active, but are also developing the knowledge and skills they need to lead healthy, active lives.

We are proud to see our teachers creating engaging, purposeful learning experiences where students can move, learn, grow, and ROAR!

En San Joaquin Elementary, la educación física es más que solo correr, jugar y divertirse, ¡es un aprendizaje basado en estándares en acción!
