Stagg High Choirs The Stagg HS Music Program (and its teachers!) are dedicated to creating educated, independent, music When in doubt...SING!

Stagg Choirs used a research based approach to educating students to be thoughtful, entertaining, literate, creative musicians. They use a method of reading rhythms called TAKADIMI and a tonal system of reading pitches called SOLFEGE (DO, RE, MI). Students are NOT taught by rote (simply repeating after the teacher), but by reading the music for themselves - it saves time, is more fun, and demands that students develop higher level skills!
