Shelly Stoll Swanson for SJ Delta College Trustee. Area 1 Retired Accountant, mother of 3, and a supporter of Delta College for 23 years. I've lived in Area 1 for 23 years.

I am interested in SJDC serving my community's educational needs through improving access to classes that help people get better jobs, change careers or go on to earn a degree All 3 of my children have gone to SJ Delta College for preschool, Kid's college, Dual Enrollment and my son is currently in the Career Technical TRAC in Microscopy. I have supported fundraisers, lobbied for state funds, advo

cated for disability accommodations and been a strong supporter of the faculty union. As a former accountant I understand that fiscal solvency is important but a Community College can't forget their mission which is meeting the educational needs of the community. The college is only strong if the students are well served.
