4 p.m. - Food Opens
Firehouse menu: creamed chicken, sloppy jo, hot dog, salads, homemade dessert & ice cream.
TCBBQ with their famous Smoked Meats and sides.
4 p.m. - Kid's Tent and Dunk Tank open
5 p.m. - Kid's & Adult Pedal Tractor Pulls
6 p.m. - Bingo, Poker, Paddle Wheel & Mouse Game
DJ and Live Music all evening.

This story has the best ending! Meet Mark, he was traveling through Stone Creek in August of 2024 on his Harley motorcycle when he was involved in a terrible accident. Station 17 First Responders were on the scene arranging life flight and performing life saving steps as the Paramedics arrived. Mark was severely injured, in a coma for nearly 5 weeks and was finally released from medical care in November to return home and continue the long journey of healing.

Tuesday Mark visited us at Stone Creek Fire & Rescue to personally thank our volunteers who stopped what they were doing that day to help save his life. Our first responders & firemen are on scene of some of the worst days of people's lives and the burden can be heavy. Especially in a small community where we commonly know the people who's homes we are called to.

This was a reminder of why we volunteer, sacrifice time for training and show up on what could be someone's worst day. This story has a happy ending and we are thankful Mark reached out to us and stopped to visit. Mark is pictured in the center with the first responders who showed up August 11, 2024 and assisted in changing the outcome of what may have been Mark's last day.
