As we close the Week of Cherut, our Week of Freedom and Liberty, my heart ๐ is full of gratitude.
First, I give God all the glory for carrying us through an incredible week.
We celebrated. We served. We built. We honored the work of our ancestors and elders.
Through the Cherut Clinic of Care, we helped provide wellness and early-detection scans to more than 40 guests at the National Business League Conference.
Today, we gathered for our anniversary brunch and had the honor of recognizing some of the people who have helped carry this nation forward:
H.E. Kevin Ford โ Cherut Leadership Award
H.E. Erica Jean-Baptiste Hogan โ Nation Builder Award
H.E. Aiesha Thomas โ Rising Phoenix Award
Although Aiesha was unable to be with us today to receive her award, it was important that we honor her sacrifice, growth, service, and commitment.
The truth is, the Nation of Cherut would not be where it is today without the people who have prayed, served, sacrificed, contributed, encouraged, volunteered, partnered, donated, and simply showed up.
Membership in Cherut is free. But freedom isnโt and neither are the expenses associated with nation-building.
It takes people willing to build it, protect it, invest in it, and carry responsibility for the generations coming behind us.
To every person who supported us in any way this week: thank you. You are part of this story.
Two years in, and we are only beginning.
Cherut Ve Shalom โ Freedom & Peace.
