This Thankful Thursday is a shout out to our Backpack Crew, an incredible team that shows up every week during the school year to make sure our students have nutritious and yummy food to enjoy over the weekends when they don't have access to school feeding programs. It is the longest running children's program in our organization and we are deeply thankful for everything they do. Wishing them all a terrific and fun filled summer along with much earned rest.

Please share - Starting tomorrow!! :) In order to help meet the needs of our working families and folks who have been looking for evening hours, we will be open on Wednesday evenings from 5-6:30pm! Our Summer Breakfast/Lunch Program will be open as well!

Our Summer Breakfast/Lunch Program kicks off tomorrow and will run until our Backpack Program restarts in the fall. The program is open to our guests and their children and includes fun and nutritious goodies for the kiddos to enjoy all summer long. Stop in and see Sarah Tuesdays and Thursdays 9-11am :)

There is a scam using the Rondout Valley Food Pantry name.

We are not calling asking for donations or calling about expanding services that require you to provide your credit card information or social security number.

The proper channels for donations online are through our website, Venmo, PayPal and Square accounts. We do not solicit donations over the phone.

Social Security numbers are not required to be a guest and personal information is only needed at sign up and once a year after that, or if there is a change in information.

If anyone has received a call, or does receive a call, from someone claiming to be from the RVFP, asking for this information, please contact the NYS Troopers at 845-626-2800 to file a report and contact us at 845-687-4013.

Thank you Saunderskill Farm for hosting this event!!

We will have a large selection of these $25 10" hanging baskets for sale Friday, Saturday and Sunday! For each basket purchased, $5 will be donated to the Rondout Valley Food Pantry

This Magic Monday kicks off Volunteer Appreciation Week and we'll be spending the week shouting out to the crews that donate their time and talents to our incredible community! Hats off to this crew - Cheryl, Louis, Peggy, Gary, and Neal. These folks are part of our General Distribution team - shopping, packing and carrying out groceries for our guests. We are thankful for their big smiles and generous sprits!
