At the Stoneville Town Council meeting on August 4, 2026, Mayor Kathy Stanley-Galvan presented a Good Samaritan Award to Laura Williams for her exceptional compassion, courage and selfless actions in helping a fellow citizen during a sudden medical emergency while at the Vera Holland Community Building.

🎃The Town of Stoneville invites the community to bring your families on Friday, October 30th from 3:00 to 5:00 pm to TRICK OR TREAT in Downtown Stoneville and enjoy a safe and fun time while supporting our local participating businesses. 🎃

TRUNK-A-TREAT will be available this year for the community to decorate your vehicle and come set up by 2:30 pm in the parking lot across from Debbie's Restaurant to give out candy; however, ALL vehicles MUST enter the parking lot at the Smith Street entrance beside the PD and Fire Department building. Thanks for your continued support of our youth, families and community. 🎃🚗

Mark your calendar and bring a friend to the September Senior Bingo at the Vera Holland Community Building located at 203 E. Main Street in downtown Stoneville on Thursday, September 10th from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. This is a seniors activity hosted by the Stoneville Police Department.
