If you see that our Public Works guys are working on cleaning a road, PLEASE do not get behind them. There may be a chance that they do not see you and we don't want any accidents. If you see one of the village tractors or trucks, please find a different road to turn on to get to your destination. Our guys are working as quickly and safely as they can to get things cleaned up.

Please refrain from leaving your homes just to go riding around to see the damages. There are lines down all over town and we do not want anyone getting injured.

The Stonington Summer Fest will start shutting down North St. around 2pm today (6/10/2026) to begin carnival set up. (Starting from the east side of the tracks to just east of Anomynous St. will be unavailable to traffic.)

WE HAVE SUMMER FEST BOOKS! Make your way up to the Village Hall and get your copy of the 2026 Stonington Summer Fest book. We still have advance arm band tickets for $22 each as well. We ask that you bring exact change or check made out to Stonington Summer Fest as we DO NOT carry cash in office.

There have been many complaints to the Stonington PD in regard to vehicles not stopping at stop signs here in town. Please make sure that you are stopping to ensure the safety of everyone on the roadways and sidewalks. Now that the weather is getting nicer there will be an increase of people out walking and kids out playing. Let's keep it safe this summer.
