We begin February 2nd.
Investment for a Regenerative Economy: https://capitalinstitute.org/investment-for-a-regenerative-economy-course/

We need to talk about finance. It shapes our shared reality.
Capital influences what gets built, who benefits, and who bears the costs.

Today's social and ecological pressures are not accidents.
They are outcomes of system design.

The deeper question is not about how to optimize finance.
The real questions are: What is finance for? What does it serve?

Over four weeks, we explore these questions together.

Designed for real lives, all live sessions are recorded, asynchronous participation is welcome via dedicated course discussion space, and the experience balances conversation and practice.

Capital shapes the world we live in.

The question is: what kind of world is it shaping?

Today’s dominant investment system rewards short-term extraction and concentration of wealth, often at the expense of communities, ecosystems, and long-term resilience. These outcomes aren’t accidental. They reflect the underlying design of the system itself.

Regenerative investment begins by rethinking the purpose of finance.

Not as a technical specialty for insiders, but as a shared responsibility for anyone who cares about the future we’re creating.

Enrollment is now open for Investment for a Regenerative Economy, a four-week course led by John Fullerton of Capital Institute.

This course explores finance as a living system and is designed for investors, practitioners, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and curious citizens alike. It extends the ideas from John’s new book, Regenerative Economics: Revolutionary Thinking for a World in Crisis, which debuted at #1 in Sustainable Business Development, into a live, global learning community.

If you care about where capital flows and what it makes possible, this course is for you.

Begins February 2

A Moment of Choice

Artificial intelligence is changing faster than most of us can track. Every major technology in history has amplified our hopes and our fears. AI will be no different. It will carry the imprint of the people who shape it.

If we want a future that feels regenerative instead of extractive, connected instead of divided, and life-giving instead of efficiency-only, we have to build toward that future together.

Introducing AI With Life

We’re launching a new community-led exploration into what AI can become when it is rooted in living systems, aligned with nature, and shaped by shared values.

This is not just another bot. It’s a collaborative research project built with partners across the regenerative space — nRhythm, Capital Institute, With Life, The Regenerative Technology Project, and Kiiren AI — all working together to imagine a different path for this technology.

Our first prototype launches alongside John Fullerton’s new book Regenerative Economics, tuned to more than a decade of Capital Institute’s work. Next, we’ll grow a Regenerative Business Companion inspired by nRhythm’s approach to working with organizations as living systems.

We Need Your Support

We’ve launched a Crowdfundr campaign to raise $300,000 for phase one. Your support helps us widen the circle, invite more voices in, and make sure this work grows with integrity and care.

Every contribution helps. Sharing helps too. Both move this vision forward at a moment when the world needs it most.

🌱 Explore and share the campaign:

Thank you to everyone helping bring this to life — your energy, insight, and commitment to a regenerative future matter more than ever.

To say we’re excited to announce that Nora Bateson is returning to host another BONUS Warm Data Lab session in the upcoming Introduction to Regenerative Economics course is an understatement...we’re thrilled!

This isn’t just another Zoom session—it’s an unforgettable experience of collective sensing, deep dialogue, and reconnection with life’s complexity.

💬 “This experience is pure poetry. Thank you!”
—Samantha Jones, Cohort 5 participant
💬 “We are in the presence of greatness.”
—Kevin Howard, Cohort 5 participant

So what is a Warm Data Lab?

It’s a 2-hour live online session led by Nora Bateson, designed to help us release and revitalize sensitivity to the sacred processes of life that have been fragmented by history. It was originally designated for helping communities begin to perceive and articulate the possible projects which would be responses to the complexity of the issues they are facing. This practice offers uniquely rich and storied online communication, in contrast to the common experience of polarized and divisive digital communication patterns.

🌀 Rooted in the legacy of Gregory Bateson and the work of the International Bateson Institute, Nora's work spans biology, art, psychology, and systems thinking to explore one central question:

How we can improve our perception of the we live within, so we may improve our interaction with the world?

You don’t want to miss this. Introduction to Regenerative Economics starts September 5. Scholarships are available through August 28.

We are living in a time of fracture. Capitalism is cracking. Economies are unraveling. Institutions are losing their center. The stories we’ve lived by—of endless growth, extraction, separation—are no longer holding.

But as every system thinker knows: instability is not the end. It is the beginning of transformation. What if the fracture is not the end—but an opening? What if collapse is a doorway to wholeness?

On August 21 at 12pm ET, two of today’s most visionary economic and business thinkers—Raj Sisodia, co-founder of Conscious Capitalism, Inc., and John Fullerton, architect of Regenerative Economics—will convene for a pivotal LIVE Discovery Dialogue to explore the role of consciousness in shaping what comes next.

Together, they’ll ask:
– What is cracking in the current paradigm—and what wants to emerge?
– How does consciousness, healing and wholeness relate to business, leadership, and economics?
– What is the path from breakdown to breakthrough—from fragmentation to flow?

This dialogue offers a whole-systems lens. It is an invitation—to think more deeply, to feel more fully, and to act from a place of greater wholeness.

P.S. Live attendees will receive an exclusive offer for the upcoming Regenerative Economics course with John Fullerton.

🕛 Time: 12:00 – 1:30 pm ET (New York)

🌍 Capitalism is cracking. The seas are stormy. What’s really going on?

Fires are raging across Greece. Texas is flooding. Europe just faced its hottest day on record. AI is reshaping the job market. The U.S. deficit looms large. These aren’t isolated events—they’re symptoms of a system in breakdown.

🌊 So—do we brace against the storm, or seek deeper currents of understanding? What if collapse is a doorway to transformation?

Introduction to Regenerative Economics offers a root-cause framework to make sense of the chaos—and a compass to redesign our economy for true prosperity and long-term well-being for all life.

🌀 Join a global community from 81+ countries redesigning our economy in service to life.
