📢 One opening for our Prairie Fire Barn Quilt Class! 📢

Did you want to participate in our barn quilt class but discovered it was full? Well, we have good news . . . We have one spot that just opened.👍 If you would like to join us on Saturday, September 12th, and are willing to do this cute cardinal barn quilt project, be the first to comment below.

👀 As a reminder this barn quilt is 20 x 20, and the cost is just $45. All supplies will be provided. Expert teaching and advise will be provided by Prairie Fire Barn Quilts to ensure you produce a lovely work of art.

💱 Payment is due on the day of the event and can be paid by cash, check, or credit card.

🧶 COMMON THREADS IS BACK! 🧵✨

After a wonderful summer break, Common Threads is returning for another year of creativity, conversation, and community!

Whether you’re picking up a crochet hook for the first time or continuing your crochet journey, everyone is welcome! And crochet isn’t the only craft invited—bring your knitting, embroidery, or any other handcraft you enjoy. Come work on your project while sharing ideas, conversation, and good company with fellow crafters.

Our Prairie Fire Barn Quilt Art Class is just around the corner! Saturday, September 12th will be a wonderful day of creating beautiful art, sharing creativity, and enjoying each other’s company. ❤️

Join us for our Monthly Story Time as we celebrate the start of a new school year with wonderful stories, smiles, and plenty of fun!

📚✨ What a Wonderful Welcome to the School Year! ✨📚

A heartfelt THANK YOU to all of the Meridian students and families who stopped by the library during last night’s Open House! We loved seeing so many familiar faces—and meeting so many new ones—who will be gracing the walls of our building and, we hope, spending plenty of time in our library throughout the school year. 💙📖

Across both Open Houses hosted by the school over the past several days, nearly 600 people visited our library! What an incredible way to begin a new school year!

As the school year gets underway, we encourage everyone to make a local library part of your routine. Whether you’re looking for a great book, a quiet place to read and learn, a fun activity, or simply a welcoming place to spend some time, your local library is here for you!

For our local families, be sure to follow this page for exciting upcoming events and activities for students in the Stonington and Meridian School Districts. We are especially excited to join forces with Blue Mound Memorial Library and South Macon Public Library to help make this school year memorable for our students and families so be sure like and follow their pages, as well. 🌟

We had such a wonderful time at the Open House this morning! 💙📚

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by the library during their building tour to visit with us. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and, just as exciting, to meet so many new ones! We are truly looking forward to a fantastic school year filled with connection, creativity, and plenty of library adventures. 📖✨

We’re especially excited to partner with Blue Mound Memorial Library and South Macon Public Library to create exciting opportunities and experiences for children and families throughout all of our communities. Together, we’re making our libraries places where everyone can learn, explore, imagine, and belong! ❤️

We can’t wait to meet many more Meridian students and their families at Monday Student/Families Open House! 🎉
