Latimer Point Latimer Point is a small ocean community in Mystic, CT. Latimer Point is a beach community and is primarily a summer place of residence.

While there are full time/year round residents, summer is when Latimer is filled with snow birds, renters, vacationers and weekenders alike!

The time has come...Already looking forward to next year! :)

The water is scheduled to be shut off starting Monday, 11/10, and will conclude with the meters being removed on Friday, 11/14. Please plan for your final water needs accordingly.

On Saturday, October 18, 2025, the docks at Little Beach and the floating docks at the Main Dock area will be removed.

Kindly ensure that all boats and lines are removed no later than Friday, October 17, 2025.

Additionally, the floating dock attached to the Utility Dock (the northernmost fixed dock) will be removed to facilitate repairs over the winter. Consequently, this floating dock will be out of service until Spring 2026.

Volunteers are needed to assist with dock removal.
