UConn HIPS HIPS educates prospective Honors students about the great opportunities available to them at the University of Connecticut and in the Honors Program.

Goals: HIPS educates prospective Honors students about the resources available to them at the University of Connecticut. The main goal of HIPS is to continue to draw intellectually-gifted and highly-motivated students to the University of Connecticut and thus continue the tradition of academic excellence that the Honors Program has established.

We are just one week away from the first HIPS Honors Reception and Open House Training session which will occur next Monday, February 26th at 8:00pm and 8:30pm in the Buckley Classroom! Happy Thursday, everyone! Are you interested in volunteering at Open House this Sunday 10/1 or later in October on 10/29? If so, please come to one of the HIPS Training Sessions tonight (9/28) in the Shippee Pequot Room. We have two trainings, one from 8:00-8:30 PM and the next 8:30-9:00 PM. Happy Friday! We have our final Honors reception this Monday, April 24th from 2:15-3:30PM in the Dodd Center. We sent out reminders to our volunteers today and are looking forward to seeing everyone then. Enjoy the weekend!

Hello everyone! We would like to thank you for all of your help over this busy week between Open House and the two Honors receptions. We have received a great reception from our prospective students and want to thank you again for volunteering.
Our next Honors reception will be Wednesday, April 19th. We will be sending out reminders on Monday if you have signed up to volunteer. In the meantime, have a great weekend, and we look forward to seeing you all soon!
