On this day, March 25th, in 1999, F-15C pilot, Captain Hwang becomes the first Airman to destroy two targets at the same time when he shot down two Serbian Air Force Mig-29s over Bosnia during Operation Allied Force.

The carrier would be one of many the United States commissioned, expanding and becoming a staple of modern Naval warfare even tomorrow, soon replacing older styles of warships like the Battleship
