Last Friday, August 21st, we had the wonderful opportunity to celebrate Story Book Child Care & Preschool with a Ribbon Cutting!

We are so excited to celebrate this wonderful expansion to our community. A thriving community means having opportunities for families, and businesses like Story Book Childcare & Preschool play such an important role in helping our community grow.

WOW, Story City Community… you really know how to make a splash!

From the moment those little colorful racers hit the water to the BIG FINISH, this year’s Annual Duck Race was one for the books!

And we didn’t stop with the race! This year we introduced something brand new DESIGN A QUACKER! What an incredible display of creativity, fun, and community spirit! We loved seeing all the unique ducks and the imagination that went into each one.

The best part? EVERYONE is a winner in our duck pool! 💛 Whether your duck zoomed across the finish line, took the scenic route, or decided to paddle along at its own pace, YOU helped make this fundraiser a success!

🎨 And a HUGE QUACK-TASTIC CONGRATULATIONS to our Design A Quacker winner,Cook Family Dentistry! Your creativity definitely made a splash!

📣 PRIZE PICK-UP:
Winners can pick up their prizes Monday–Thursday, 10 AM–4 PM at the Story City Chamber Main Street Office.

A giant THANK YOU to every person who adopted a duck, designed a quacker, sponsored, volunteered, cheered, donated, helped behind the scenes, or simply came out to enjoy the fun.

We are already looking forward to making next year even more QUACK-TASTIC!
