We are proud to announce that Bethany Life has been recognized as a recipient of the 2026 AHCA/NCAL Bronze Commitment to Quality Award!

This national recognition was awarded to both the Households of Bethany and Timberland Village, highlighting our organization-wide commitment to excellence in assisted living and long-term care. In addition, Bethany at Home has achieved accreditation, becoming only the second program in Iowa to earn this distinction.

Presented by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL), the Bronze Commitment to Quality Award recognizes providers that demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous quality improvement through the nationally recognized Baldrige Performance Excellence Framework.

These achievements reflect the dedication, compassion, and professionalism of our team members, whose daily efforts enrich the lives of those we serve. Jerry grew up on a farm in La Mesa, Texas, with his four brothers, two sisters, and his parents. After graduating from high school, he continued farming alongside his dad on the family farm.

In 1966, Jerry married his wife, Katherine, and also proudly joined the Army. Together, they raised two children, a son, Jerry, and a daughter, Chrystal. Jerry is also a proud grandfather to five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. ❤️

Jerry joined the Bethany Life family in 2024. When asked what he enjoys most about Bethany Life, he shared that he loves the amazing staff and spending time with the other residents.

We are so thankful to have Jerry as part of our Bethany Life community! 💙
