We are excited to celebrate Jean as our Resident of the Month! 💐

Born and raised in Webster City, Iowa, Jean has built a life filled with family, faith, hard work, and many wonderful memories. She and her husband, Don, raised five children, and family has always remained at the heart of Jean’s life.

Jean is remembered as an amazing cook and baker, especially for her homemade cookies and bread! 🍪 She enjoys painting, playing dominoes, crocheting, church activities, Westerns, and spending time with the people she loves.

Her family describes Jean as hardworking, supportive, fun, and incredibly proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. ❤️

Sapper is currently in training to become Bethany Life’s very own therapy dog, and we are so excited for her to begin this journey!

Once she completes her training, Sapper will bring comfort, companionship, smiles, and plenty of tail wags to our residents, families, and staff.

We’re excited to share that Bethany Life CEO Kim Schilling has been selected for the 2026–27 Leadership Iowa class! 🎉

Kim is one of just 40 leaders from across Iowa chosen to participate in this statewide leadership program through the Iowa Association of Business and Industry (ABI) Foundation.

Over the coming year, Kim will travel to communities throughout Iowa to learn more about topics impacting our state, including workforce development, healthcare, education, government, agriculture and manufacturing.

We’re proud to see Kim representing Bethany Life and the communities we serve while connecting with leaders from across the state and bringing new ideas and perspectives back to our organization.
