Bollywood Dance Workshop, Ages 12+

Nita Trivedi leads this Bollywood dance class for up to 30 adults and teens.No experience is necessary! Nita breaks down the steps into simple sections.

Nita Trivedi brings vibrant energy and deep cultural roots to her role as a Bollywood dance instructor. Nita teaches not only Bollywood, but also South Asian Indian folk dancing and the Indian classical style Kathak. Her classes celebrate both movement and cultural storytelling, offering students a unique lens into South Asian traditions through rhythm and expression.

Local children’s author Carla Marrero visited the SPL to read her new children’s book, “Babs and the Rainbow Realm!” Kids listened to the story and made a crown craft!
