Check it out – not one, but two white deer captured on a Portage County Snapshot Wisconsin camera! The ghostly appearance of white deer is caused by one of two different genetic mutations resulting in albinism or leucism, which can also result in a “piebald” deer.

Have you captured any white deer on your trail cameras? We'd love to see them below!

Explore the wonders of Wisconsin wildlife from home with Snapshot Wisconsin. Visit http://www.SnapshotWisconsin.org to view and classify trail camera photos from across the state.

Hopefully everyone is staying safe with their tech devices. I miss visiting with those of you who came with questions on Thursday mornings. Here is a funny, but eye-opening video on SPAM.
Hopefully everyone is staying busy and finding time to do some exercising. My wife and I wanted to do the PALS exercise program at the SASC, but after just one class - it was canceled. We had the foresight to go to Walmart and get all the exercise equipment before they all sold out at the store. Using the sets of exercises that are in the book from that canceled class, we are now in our tenth week of doing exercising at the house. And yes, we've noticed a positive difference in our lives because of this. I hope everyone is doing okay!
PBS' show Discover Wisconsin has an episode of Stoughton that is airing this week. If you'd rather watch it online - it is available now and can be seen here: .
Can't wait to get back to the SASC to volunteer again.
If anyone has questions about the census being done in 2020, this website has many short videos that might help in answering your questions.
In the computer class in February, we'll be talking about security on one's computer and a little about in one's life. This includes all sorts of scams. Here is one to be really aware of this year - census takers. For more information - here is a nice article by WKOW 27.
Our Senior Center has everything -- even a bike rack! What a great place.
i know you do some Parkinson's Programming. thought this link might interest you. Have a great day.
Great Coffee with the Mayor this morning. In case you missed it, Stoughton Parks and Recreation is looking for feedback, with a 10- to 15-minute survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/StoughtonCORP.
We are so excited that this amazing program will be coming to Stoughton Public Library in the near future. Stay tuned on how you can participate. See Music & Memory for more details on how the program works. If you have an iPod that you no longer use and would be willing to donate to this program, please contact Hollee at the Stoughton Area Senior Center.
