Due to the snowstorm we are expecting Fridays trash and recycling is canceled. If your trash and recycling is normally picked up this Friday please have it out by 7 AM on Monday morning for pick up. Monday will include Friday’s pick up and the regular Monday route. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call the public works department. Stay safe

If you’re trash was out by 7 AM today Monday, December 27 and it was not picked up please leave it out you will be picked up tomorrow. Thank you!

If your trash/recycling pick up day is this Thursday Thanksgiving it will be picked up on Friday November 26th. If your trash/recycling day is Friday, you pick up day will still be Friday. Have a Happy Thanksgiving.

There will be a trash truck available at the DPW on Saturday from 7am - 3pm for residents to dispose of any perishable food you may have. Thank you
Gay Street will be open for chippable brush, leaves, grass clippings and small limbs no bigger than 4" in diameter on every Saturday in November starting November 6th from 8-3. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call Public Works. Thank you
If any Stoughton resident has any perishable food items that need to be disposed of there will be a trash truck available here at the Stoughton Public works. You can bring it up here and put it in the back of the trash truck.

Town trash will still be picked up today 10/27/21. As a reminder trash needs to be out by 7am on your trash day.

One of our employees came across a exotic bird on the road at Ames Pond. The dog officer is not in so he took the bird to Lloyd’s Animal Hospital. If anyone is missing a bird please contact them at 781-344-2500.
