πŸŽ‰Retirement Spotlight SeriesπŸŽ‰
After 34 years of working in education, Kris Wolf is officially retiring!
🌟1. How long have you worked at SASD? I have worked in education for 34 years. My entire career has been at Fox Prairie and I also student taught at Fox. 26 years were in the classroom. I taught 4th grade, 5th grade and 2nd grade. I have been the Dean of Students for the past 8 years.
🌟2. What has been the most rewarding part of your work? Being the Dean of Students has been incredibly rewarding! The position has allowed me to help students and families in a multitude of ways that has had a positive impact on their lives.
🌟3. What advice would you give to new educators or staff just starting out? Have a good work - life balance. Being an educator is hard work and you need to take care of yourself. Also, celebrate the successes whether they be big or small.
🌟4. What are your plans for retirement? First off, my daughter and her husband are expecting their first child in August. I am looking forward to being able to help them out and have snuggle time with the baby. My husband and I plan to travel and go boating (fishing too). I will spend a lot more time riding my horse and going on new adventures with him. I have been fortunate enough to enjoy riding my horse on the beautiful trails in Wisconsin and I look forward to helping with the maintenance of the trails.

Thank you, Kris, for your service to SASD students and staff! Join us in wishing her a wonderful retirement!
