It’s Fire Prevention Week, and we’re proud to work alongside the fire departments and fire protection districts serving Laclede County.

From the dispatch floor, a fire response starts with good information: the location, what is burning, whether anyone is inside, and any hazards crews may face. Our dispatchers gather those details while help is being sent, so our fire partners can arrive informed and ready.

This week is also a good time to test smoke alarms, practice a home escape plan, and make sure house numbers are easy to see from the road.

Thank you to the firefighters across Laclede County who protect our communities day and night.
