STOVER POLICE DEPARTMENT SURPLUS VEHICLE — SEALED BID SALE
The Stover Police Department is accepting sealed bids for the sale of a surplus 2016 Dodge Charger with approximately 50,000 miles. (Exact information will be posted before bidding begins.)
Bidding opens: October 1, 2026
Bidding closes: November 1, 2026
Minimum bid: $3,500
Bidding Instructions:
The official bid form, along with complete instructions on how and where to submit your sealed bid, will be made available to the public closer to the October 1st bidding opening date.
Vehicle Information:
• 2016 Dodge Charger
• Approximately 50,000 miles
• Well maintained during its service with the department
• Vehicle does have undiagnosed mechanical issues
• Sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS, with no warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied. The City/Stover Police Department makes no representations regarding the vehicle’s mechanical condition, reliability, future repairs, or fitness for any particular purpose. Bidders are encouraged to inspect the vehicle before submitting a bid.
The vehicle is located in the Stover Police Department/City Hall parking lot and may be viewed in person. Due to insurance restrictions, test drives will not be permitted.
All police equipment, department logos, markings, decals, and other identifying equipment will be completely removed or disabled prior to the vehicle being released to the successful bidder.
The successful bidder will be required to pay the full accepted bid amount by cashier’s check or money order before the vehicle is released.
Title and ownership transfer will be completed in accordance with RSMo 301.210.
The City of Stover/Stover Police Department reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process, and accept the bid determined to be most advantageous to the public.

The bidding is open to anyone 18+ and is not limited to just the residents of Stover.
