A big thank you to everyone who joined us for Campfire Cooking in Cast Iron last night as we celebrated the Silver Springs Campground 50th Anniversary!

We learned how to cook with cast iron, how to properly clean and care for it, and made four delicious main dishes and four different dump cakes. And, of course, we sampled everything—and it was all absolutely delicious!

A special thank you to our amazing instructor, Jeff Kline, for sharing his campfire cooking expertise and making the evening so much fun!

Good news—Jeff will be back! Join us on Mon., September 14 for Campfire Cooking in Foil Packets.

BASKETBALL SKILLS CLINIC — REGISTRATION OPEN! 🏀

Ready to sharpen your basketball skills this fall? Join us for our Co-Ed Basketball Skills Clinic for Grades 2–7!

Under the direction of Stow Girls Basketball Head Coach Andy O’Keefe and experienced players, participants will work on the fundamentals of basketball with an emphasis on shooting and scoring. Station work, small-group instruction, and a shooting clinic will help players develop their individual skills in a fun, positive environment. All ability levels are welcome!

Mondays, Sept. 14 - Oct. 12
Lakeview Intermediate School
$45 per child
🏀 Grades 2–3: 5:15–6:15 PM
🏀 Grades 4–5: 6:30–7:30 PM
🏀 Grades 6–7: 7:45–8:45 PM

Registration is open to Stow and Munroe Falls residents and students attending Holy Family.

Pull up a lawn chair and join us around the campfire for a fun and flavorful evening celebrating the Silver Springs Campground 50th Anniversary!

Professional caterer and camper Jeff Kline will share his tips and techniques for cooking over an open fire using classic cast iron pans. You’ll have the chance to help with the cooking—and enjoy three main dishes and three desserts, all prepared over the campfire!

What an incredible summer!

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing campers, dedicated counselors, and incredible staff for making the 2026 Silver Springs Summer Day Camp one to remember. The season was packed with unforgettable memories.

We hope everyone has a fantastic school year, and we can't wait to see you back at camp next summer!
